CONSULTATIONS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The following Terms and Conditions apply to the Naturopathic consultations offered by Kristin Beckedahl at The Mamawise Naturopath (of registered business name Mamawise Naturopathy, ABN: 38 326 994 846) also referred to throughout as “Kristin”, “I”, “my” and “me”.
These are to be read, along with the other written formal agreements supplied prior to the initial consultation. These become binding documents that form a mutual agreement once you proceed with booking and payment for the initial consultation.
PROVISION OF SERVICES
Kristin will provide one-to-one naturopathic consultations online via My Appointments video calls.
The video time allocated for the Initial Consultation is 60 minutes and Follow-up consultations are either 45, 30 or 20 minutes in duration.
The Initial Consultation and the First Follow-Up Consultation must be video calls. Phone consults are only available as an option with the subsequent Follow-Up Consultation/s and Review Consultation/s.
All consultations are confirmed via SMS, 48 hours prior to the appointment date/time.
If, for any unforeseen or extenuating circumstances Kristin cannot attend your consultation, you will be notified by email. A full refund of the paid consultation fee or rescheduling of the appointment will be offered.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to receive personalised naturopathic care within your initial consultation, please ensure you complete the Intake Form to the best of your ability beforehand. This is provided by email when your appointment is booked and paid for.
It is assumed you will provide Kristin Beckedahl with ongoing and accurate information regarding your state of health, and/or any prescribed medications you are taking if you’re under the guidance of another practitioner.
It is assumed you will proceed with the testing recommended by Kristin Beckedahl in order to obtain the specific information required to help identify your health needs.
It is assumed you will inform any other health practitioner you are seeing (e.g. GP, midwife, nutritionist) that you are currently under the care and treatment recommendations of a Naturopath.
It is assumed you will follow the recommended usage and dosage of any products prescribed by Kristin Beckedahl, and also inform her immediately if you experience any ill effects from the products.
FEES & PAYMENT
Consultation fees are prepaid online through the My Appointments platform at the time of booking the appointment.
Payments are managed by our secure payment portal Latpay (Latpay Payment Solutions). No payment plans or discounts on fees are available.
Products, such as supplements and/or testing are charged in addition to and separately from the consultation fee. These are to be paid for prior to dispensing (e.g. Mamawise Herbal Formulas) and shipment, and/or at the same time as ordering via the online dispensary or testing facility.
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, CONFIRMATION, LATENESS, NONATTENDANCE
All appointments require a minimum of 24 hours notice to either cancel or reschedule (this can be done yourself via your My Appointments account).
A SMS reminder is sent 48 hours prior to your initial consultation to confirm your attendance. If you do not reply to this SMS reminder (or cancel/reschedule yourself), your consultation will be cancelled and 100% of the consultation fee will be retained.
If you cancel your appointment via email less than 24 hours beforehand, 100% of the consultation fee will be retained.
If you fail to attend your consultation, 100% of the consultation fee is retained.
If you are late to your consultation, the time allocated for the appointment remains. In this scenario, the objectives of the consultation may not be met and may need to be completed in another appointment.
If due to unforeseen or extenuating circumstances you are not able to attend your consultation, 100% of the consultation fee is retained and rescheduling of your appointment is offered. If you decline to reschedule your appointment, the consultation fee is retained.
If cancellations and/or nonattendance repeatedly occur, Kristin Beckedahl has the discretion to cease accepting any future bookings.
REFUND POLICY
If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours prior to will receive a full refund of the consultation fees paid. Any credit card processing fee applied through the payment platform is not refunded.
There are no refunds of consultation fees if you have attended your appointment.
There are no refunds on any prescribed products that have been opened after purchase. There is no refund for the personalised Mamawise herbal formulas.
Refunds or exchanges on unopened products are available, yet the cost of return and replacement postage is at your cost. If you have received a product with fault from the product supplier, please notify us and we will contact the supplier on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund.
There are no refunds for third-party functional testing services.

If any information is withheld by the client that may affect the suitability or safety of such, Kristin Beckedahl is not liable for any subsequent, adverse reactions or outcomes.
As an accredited member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), Kristin Beckedahl is bound by the Guidelines and Policies referred to in the Code of Conduct. This includes, but is not limited to Ethical Principles, Duty of Care, Professional Conduct, Professional Boundaries, Personal Information and Confidentiality, Advertising and Claims.

We reserve the right but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of Services or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any Service or product at any time. Any offer for any Service or product made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any Services, products, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
SECTION 5 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any booking you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel booking quantities purchased per person. These restrictions may include bookings placed by or under the same or different client name, the same credit card, and/or bookings that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel a booking, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the booking was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit a booking that, in our sole judgment, appears to be fraudulent.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account information for all bookings made. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers, and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
