What is it?
Placenta encapsulation is the process of converting a woman’s placenta into an ingestible ‘pill’ form.
Also known as ‘placenta capsules’ or ‘placenta pills’, this preparation is the most popular way to use a placenta for its postpartum benefits.
The process involves steaming and/or dehydrating the placenta, then grinding these placenta pieces into a fine powder that’s then placed into empty capsules for the mother to take. These tasteless capsules look just like any other vitamin supplement.
This form of placenta consumption is favored due to its convenience, palatability, and preservation.
The capsules may be used for up to 12 months after the birth. See FAQ for more.
Reported benefits:
Mothers report the following benefits from using their placenta capsules:
Increase in energy levels
Increase in sense of well-being and postpartum mood
No or lower experience of ‘baby blues’
No or lower experience of postpartum depression
No or lower experience of anxiety and overwhelm
Breastmilk came in quickly, or quicker than the previous time/s
Breastmilk supply was abundant, or better than the previous time/s
Postpartum blood loss finished quickly/quicker than the previous time/s
Post pregnancy iron stores replenished - confirmed with blood testing
Postpartum hair loss decreased
Postpartum recovery enhanced
Why use the placenta?
To understand how placenta encapsulation may benefit a postpartum mother, it’s helpful to learn about the placenta itself.
The placenta functions as a powerful hormone-producing organ throughout pregnancy. It begins secreting essential hormones as early as 6-8 weeks gestation to help maintain and support the pregnancy. These hormone levels steadily rise as pregnancy progresses.
By the third trimester, oestrogen increases up to 30 times its baseline level, progesterone rises tenfold, and cortisol - the body’s stress-regulating hormone - triples. Oestrogen continues to climb and peaks in the final days before birth.
After the baby is born, the placenta is delivered. As a result, the mother loses this primary source of hormonal saturation.
Within just days after birth, hormone levels drop dramatically, plummeting back to preconception levels. This is the most intense hormonal crash a woman will experience in her lifetime - more sudden than puberty and more extreme than menopause. This rapid shift often coincides with what’s commonly known as the ‘Day 3 blues’ or ‘baby blues’.
The mother’s body needs to regulate to its new normal. Her body needs to begin producing her hormones now that the hormone factory (placenta) is gone. All while shifting gears into a ‘hormonal regime’ of breastfeeding. This is where the balancing properties of the placenta come into play.
The goal is not to simply return all of these lost placenta hormones to the mother, as her needs are now different.
The practice of placenta consumption helps buffer the intense hormonal transition to the postpartum state. It also helps provide the body with the elements for rebuilding and restoring after pregnancy and birth.
So many of these hormones affect a woman’s physical energy, stress response, mental clarity, anxiety levels, mood, and sense of well-being.
What’s in the placenta?
The placenta is rich in hormones, nutrients, and healing compounds that your body may find especially beneficial after birth.
These hormones are generally present in small or trace amounts after dehydration, and their bioavailability (whether the body can use them) is still under research.
However, I’ve personally collated over 12 years of anecdotal reports from women sharing improvements in their energy, mood, and overall recovery from consuming encapsulated placenta.
While scientific research is still emerging, the traditional use of placenta consumption has a long history in some cultures. It continues to be explored for its potential to ease the transition into motherhood.
Below is an impressive list of the constituents and how they may support your recovery in the weeks after birth.
The hormones
OXYTOCIN - The bonding hormone
Supports emotional bonding, protection, helps the uterus return to normal size, reduces postbirth bleeding, decreases pain, counteracts the production of excessive stress hormones, and enhances the breastfeeding let-down reflex
PROLACTIN - The milk hormone.
Stimulates milk production, enhances maternal instinct, and may help balance maternal mood and sleep
PROGESTERONE - The calming hormone.
Supports emotional stability, reduces anxiety, eases emotional drop after birth
OESTROGEN - The stabiliser.
Promotes tissue healing, supports mood
CORTICOTROPHIN-RELEASING HORMONE - The stress modulator.
Regulates the body’s stress response, may help buffer postpartum mood shifts
HUMAN PLACENTAL LACTOGEN - The metabolic support hormone.
Influences energy metabolism; supports breastfeeding
THYROID HORMONES - The metabolism regulators.
Contains both T4 and T3; influences the body’s metabolism, energy, digestion, recovery and weight
CORTISONE - The stress-reliever.
Combats excessive stress levels and unlocks energy stores in the body.
The nutrients
IRON - Replenishes iron stores after pregnancy and birth.
Supports energy, maternal mood, and the immune system, helps combat postpartum iron deficiency or anaemia
VITAMIN B6 - Supports mood and hormone balance.
Plays a role in serotonin production and helps ease mood swings or anxiety
VITAMIN B12 - Boosts energy and supports nerve health.
Helps with mental clarity, energy, and reducing brain fog or low mood
ZINC - Supports immune function and wound healing.
Essential for tissue repair, hormone balance, and immune support
SELENIUM - Antioxidant support.
Protects cells from oxidative stress and supports thyroid health, especially important in postpartum
Other compounds
PROSTAGLANDINS - Natural anti-inflammatory.
Hormone-like substances that help regulate uterine contractions after birth, helping the uterus return to pre-pregnancy size
PLACENTA OPIOID-ENHANCING FACTOR - Pain reliever.
Stimulates the production of your body’s natural opioids, including endorphins; reduces pain and increases well-being
INTERFERON & GAMMAGLOBULIN - Immune supporters.
These both stimulate the immune system, protecting against infection
UROKINASE INHIBITING FACTOR & FACTOR XIII - Wound healers.
These both help reduce bleeding and enhance tissue remodelling

Additional Products
Placenta Tincture
This is made from using a small (pea-sized) piece of placenta and placing it in a solution of high-grade alcohol for 6 weeks.
After this time, it’s strained off to create the 100ml tincture. This is then posted out to you. The timing of this often coincides with your capsules coming to an end.
Tinctures can be used once your placenta capsules are finished and at any time of emotional stress, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, drop in milk supply, or illness.
The suggested dosage is 7-10 drops into a glass of water, up to 4 times a day. At this dose, it equates to approximately 1ml per day. When stored correctly, placenta tinctures remain shelf-stable for many years.
$60
Placenta Print
This is created by taking a print of the fetal side of the placenta with its unique vessels and umbilical cord placement. It resembles the ‘tree of life’ and dries as red/brown.
Premium, artist-quality, acid-free 200 gsm paper in A3 size is used. Once dry, it’s sprayed with a clear sealant to minimise fading from UV light, especially if displayed in a frame.
Print results and colours will naturally vary.
$50
Umbilical Cord Keepsake
This is complimentary. The cord can be dried into various shapes e.g heart, spiral, circle, or baby’s first initial.
Some mothers choose to include them in baby books, keepsake boxes, frame them or bury them ceremonially.
Shapes available will often depend on the length of cord left attached to the placenta. All results will naturally vary.

I bring over 12 years of experience and have encapsulated more than 1,250 placentas for mothers across Perth. (Previously known as BodyWise BirthWise)
I am dual-certified: first in 2012 with Placenta Benefits (PBi), and later through the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) in 2016 - still widely regarded as the gold standard in placenta training.
I maintain annual certification in Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control, in line with occupational health and safety standards for handling human tissue.
I have earned the trust of midwives, obstetricians, and doulas and have a strong base of returning clients who come back for their second, third, and even fourth babies!
I don’t overbook; I limit the number of bookings I take each month so you receive truly personalised, reliable and professional service.
I have never received a report of adverse effects from any of my clients using their placenta capsules.
Safety, Integrity & Privacy
I follow all APPA and Department of Health guidelines, including strict protocols for handling, sanitising, storage, and identification.
I do not make therapeutic claims about the use or benefits of placenta encapsulation, in line with TGA regulations.
I have always held full insurance coverage for placenta encapsulation services.
I was the first provider in Perth to introduce personalised, branded Placenta Kits (since 2017), compliant with the Department of Health’s Packaging and Transport of Pathology Specimens and Infection Control Guidelines.
Every booking includes a Placenta Kit, this is not an option or an additional charge. It comes to you flat-packed, and is compact, discreet, and easy to take to your place of birth.

I never intrude on your birth space. Even if you invite me in, I do not ask for photos or promotional content.
I am highly sensitive to your privacy and rest, and always collect placentas discreetly and respectfully, often without entering your room at all.
Your placenta is only ever handled by me, from collection through to processing and capsule delivery.
I do not outsource any part of the process or allow unqualified individuals to assist.

My preparation methods include:
Proper identification procedures
Temperature and dehydration controls
Aseptic techniques
Use of hospital-grade cleaning agents and PPE
Full compliance with the Australian Government Department of Health Infection Control Guidelines
I never use essential oils in the steaming water, nor burn incense or smudge sticks over the placenta - there is no evidence to support the safety or efficacy of such practices.
I work from a dedicated workspace using dehydrators with top-positioned fans only.
Capsule & Packaging Care
I only use clear capsules, so you can easily see the integrity of their contents. I do not provide artificially flavoured capsules.
Capsules are packed in rigid, recyclable plastic containers and not glass, which poses a breakage risk that can render capsules unsafe.
Capsules are typically finished and posted within 24-36 hours of receiving the placenta, so you can begin benefiting from them as soon as possible, and help buffer the hormonal shift of the early days after birth.
Capsules come with a comprehensive booklet that contains all the information you require.
I only used Australia Post Express Service, and all parcels require a signature on delivery. If you anticipate staying in the hospital for a few days, I can send it to another address (e.g. family/friend).

FAQ
-
If I’m planning a waterbirth?
In most cases, the placenta is delivered outside the birth pool after you've spent time bonding with your baby in the water. However, even if the placenta is delivered in the pool, encapsulation is often still possible. You can always double-check with Kristin after the birth.
If I’m having a planned induction or caesarean?
Yes, induction does not preclude encapsulation. Nor does a planned, or emergency caesarean section.
If I have pain relief (e.g epidural/pethidine/gas) in labour?
Yes. Using pain relief during labour does not preclude placenta encapsulation. If I have gestational diabetes?
Yes. Gestational diabetes does not exclude you from placenta encapsulation. If I test positive for Group B Strep (GBS)?
Yes. GBS is not an infection. It’s a common inhabitant bacteria detected in about 25% of pregnancies that are screened for it. Testing positive for GBS means this bacterium was present at the time of testing; it does not mean you, your placenta or your baby has an infection. It’s also normal for GBS to come and go at any time without symptoms. When a trained encapsulation specialist uses food-safe methods, GBS is eliminated from placenta tissues, making encapsulation safe.
If I’m planning cord blood/stem cell banking?
Yes, placenta encapsulation is still possible. Let both your cord blood collection team and encapsulation specialist know in advance, to ensure proper handling and storage is in place.
If baby passes its first poo (meconium) during labour?
This is not an uncommon occurrence. When a trained encapsulation specialist processes the placenta, the presence of meconium does not preclude encapsulation. Some mums may switch from their chosen Raw Prep Method to the TCM-Based method (i.e steaming first) for added safety, although this is not strictly required.
If my baby is of low birth weight?
As long as your baby is healthy and there are no complications requiring the placenta to be sent to pathology, or the placenta is infected, encapsulation may still proceed. You can always double-check with Kristin after the birth. Many mums with smaller babies find their placenta capsules extremely beneficial for their emotional support and breastmilk supply at this time.
If my placenta has calcification?
Mild to moderate calcification is common, especially toward the end of pregnancy. It generally does not affect the safety or suitability for encapsulation.
If I develop preeclampsia in late pregnancy or during labour?
In most cases, yes. Preeclampsia does not automatically exclude encapsulation unless your placenta is sent to pathology or there are other complications. You can always double-check with Kristin after the birth.
If I have placenta previa?
Yes. Placenta previa affects the location of the placenta, but not its suitability for encapsulation.
If I’m on medication?
This depends on the type of medication. Common medications during pregnancy and birth usually do not interfere. Please ensure you list your medications on your booking form so Kristin can assess any potential concerns.
If I’m planning a lotus birth?
If you're doing a full lotus birth (keeping the placenta attached until it naturally separates), encapsulation is not possible due to inadequate temperature control and storage. A modified lotus birth (cord separation within 12–24 hours) may still allow for encapsulation if the placenta is properly stored throughout this time. Please discuss the safety and logistics with Kristin.
If I gave birth some weeks/months ago and my placenta is in freezer?
Possibly. If your placenta was adequately refrigerated and/or frozen within encapsulation-safe time frames, it may still be suitable for encapsulation up to 6-12 months after the birth. Contact Kristin to discuss.

What about Group B Strep?
GBS is not an infection. It’s a common inhabitant bacteria detected in about 25% of pregnancies that are screened for it. Testing positive for GBS means this was present at the time of testing; it does not mean you, your placenta or your baby has an infection. It’s also normal for GBS to come and go at any time without symptoms. Whether you choose to treat this during labour (with IV antibiotics) or not, a trained encapsulation specialist who uses food-safe methods, eliminates GBS from placenta tissues, making encapsulation safe.
What safety precautions are taken?
All preparation methods include proper identification procedures, steaming temperature and dehydration controls, aseptic techniques, use of hospital-grade cleaning agents, PPE and full compliance with the Australian Government Department of Health Infection Control Guidelines. I work from a dedicated workspace using dehydrators with top-positioned fans only.
How can I be assured I’ll receive capsules from my own placenta?
Each placenta is processed individually, one at a time, with strict protocols in place to ensure there is no mix-up or cross-contamination. Even before your placenta reaches me, it’s clearly labelled with your identification within your Placenta Transport Kit. I personally handle and encapsulate each placenta I receive, so you can be 100% confident you’re receiving capsules made from your own placenta.
Is the placenta a filter and therefore full of toxins
This is a common misconception. The placenta acts as an interface between mother and baby; a nutrient-transfer organ rather than a filter. Its role is to exchange oxygen and nutrients, not to trap or hold waste products from the mother or baby. Most waste products or toxins are circulated into the mother’s system to be processed through her liver and kidneys, and not stored in the placenta.
When is it not possible to encapsulate a placenta?
If the placenta has not been handled or stored correctly after the birth for encapsulation purposes, or it’s sent to pathology for testing, or there are signs and/or symptoms of infection of the placenta, uterus, mother and/or baby during labour and/or after birth (eg. chorioamnionitis, certain bloodborne infections).
These situations are always ruled out before the placenta is collected or brought to Kristin after the birth.
What training and certifications do you hold to do this work?
“I am a Dual-Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Firstly in 2012 with Placenta Benefits (PBi), and later through the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) in 2016. APPA is widely regarded as the gold standard in placenta training.

I am also a qualified Naturopath (B.Nat), Childbirth Educator (GradDip CBE), Birth and Postpartum Doula, working within these roles for the past 27 years.

What do the placenta capsules look and taste like?
Clear vegetable-based capsules are used. They look just like any other vitamin or herbal supplement and do not have any particular taste.
How do I take them?
Along with your capsules you’ll receive the ‘Placenta Encapsulation and Your Postpartum Booklet’. This covers in detail how to use your capsules, and much more.
Is anything else added into the capsules?
No. The contents are 100% dehydrated placenta powder from your processed placenta.
How many will I get?
The size of the placenta is often relative to the weight of the baby. The largest placenta I’ve worked with came from a 4.8kg baby, and weighed 1.2kg. This resulted in 260 capsules. The smallest placenta I’ve worked with came from a 2.6kg baby and weighed just 400gm. This resulted in 84 capsules. Most babies average 3.5kg in weight, with the placenta encapsulation process yielding 110-160 capsules.
The number of capsules can also depend on the chosen preparation method. The Raw Prep Method typically yields more capsules than the TCM-Based Method due to the lack of steaming, and therefore volume loss.
How long do they last?
Most receive enough capsules to see them through the first 6 weeks postpartum. Some can be saved for later use but its recommended to use them within the first 12 months of giving birth.
Can I have coloured or flavoured capsules?
I don’t provide either of these. I think it’s important to be able to see the integrity of the contents of the capsules, and I’m not a fan of using artificially flavoured/coloured capsules. Can I save them for menopause?
This is very limited data on the safety and efficacy of long-term storage and use of placenta capsules. Keeping capsules for future hormonal transitions, such as the return of your menstrual cycle or even menopause, is not recommended. It's best to use the placenta capsules within the first 12 months postpartum, or consider having a placenta tincture made for longer-term use.

How do I get my placenta to you?
There are 3 options to choose from. Option 1 is when you arrange to have the placenta brought to me (Fremantle area). Option 2 and Option 3 is when I come to you/your place of birth to collect the placenta.
Which Option (1, 2 or 3) results in receiving my capsules the quickest?
This does depend on what day of the week you give birth and which Option you choose.
Your capsules are typically finished within 24-48 hours of me receiving the placenta. If this falls on a mid-week day they will be Express Posted to you on this day, with next day delivery. This applies for Option 1 and Option 2.
With Option 3 (where I return the capsules to you in person) this typically occurs 48-72 hours after receiving the placenta. What happens if I give birth in the middle of the night?
With your Placenta Kit you’ll receive full instructions about safe placenta storage. This includes what to do if you birth outside of the typical collection/receiving hours (8am - 8pm). I’m all for stress-free processes!
What happens if my baby comes earlier or later than my due date?
This is highly likely and something I factor into my booking system.

Testimonials
A heartfelt thank you to these mums who’ve shared their personal experiences with placenta encapsulation, and allowing their words and photos to be published.
“Thank you so much Kristin, for everything. If I were having any more children, I would be getting placenta encapsulation again.
I continue to tell people about my experience with having my placenta encapsulated. The benefits have definitely been worthwhile. I just take one little capsule and within one day I am full of energy and life – even with a small amount of sleep. Zoé is thriving and I can’t thank you enough for that.
My husband and I have been talking about the benefits. We found that I have more energy and feeling good overall, my postpartum bleeding went away within 4 weeks. Compared to my son – which was 12 weeks. My milk supply has gone well and Zoé is 6kgs!
Your products are amazing and I hope to get some for friends who having any more children in the future. Thanks once again.”
KB, baby Zoé
“I would just would like to say what a fantastic experience my first placenta encapsulation process has been. Kristin’s service from beginning to end was faultless – even the packaging was superb! After suffering from postnatal depression after the birth of my first child I was determined to make my second time a much more pleasant experience for myself.
I believe taking my placenta capsules has made me adjust to the hectic life of two children much easier, I feel less anxiety in those stressful moments of motherhood & my milk supply has never been better. I have also purchased other products from Kristin’s range and could not fault the service – goods arrived the very next day!”
Dallas
“I have found taking my placenta capsules to be a lifesaver. This was my second baby, and I have taken them both times. This time, I was not very organised in ordering them so I didn’t get them till the 4th day after birth. The difference in my mood and mental health before and after taking them was strong and very much demonstrated the benefits. Having experienced mental health issues for years, I can definitely say that taking the placenta capsules is amazing.”
Cara
“In the 6 weeks since my little man arrived, I have felt literally no exhaustion, no low mood, and have had no tears. I waited and waited for some type of slump – but nothing.
My milk supply has been abundant and I have had energy most days to run after my toddler and be up all night with my newborn. I can really only put it down to my placenta capsules. I really don’t want them to run out!!!”
Renee, baby Rex
“I literally cannot recommend the capsules or Kristin enough!! After a friend was raving about her experience I figured I had nothing to lose by trying placenta encapsulation and messaged Kristin straight away. From the first message with all the information through to the delivery of the capsules she was so wonderful. She even went above and beyond for me when I needed some products from her online store. Hands down best decision I made. I’ve had no post baby blues at all and plenty of energy.
I also really appreciated how accessible she was when I went into labour unexpectedly and sent her a last minute text. The products on her online store are amazing. I’m so grateful I purchased that little wash bottle - it made such a difference with my lady garden once I started using it! Thank you Kristin, you are an angel x”
Renee, baby Addison
“This was my third time having my placenta encapsulated through Kristin and I cannot speak more highly of her services. It is always such a smooth and enjoyable process and I have learnt new things from her each time. Once again, I enjoyed the amazing benefits of the placenta capsules while taking them. Amongst a long list, my energy levels were surprisingly good, and things that would normally seem overwhelming were much easier to process and deal with. I would recommend Kristin to any expecting mother.”
Megan, baby Fox
“It's almost 8 weeks since Abby was born and I feel energetic during the day, I feel emotionally sound and confident as I go about my day with a very little anxiousness and mood swings. As this is only my first baby I have nothing to compare the experience to however, a lot of Mum friends have commented on how great my energy is despite such little sleep. Despite the normal hormonal tears not long after delivery, I have felt very together since returning home from hospital and I have remained so. I will definitely do placenta encapsulation with my next baby and will use Kristin again. She is professional, informative, and provides a really quick turnaround so you can get the benefit of the capsules so soon after delivery. Thanks so much for looking after my placenta. I'll be in touch when baby #2 comes along!”
Nikki, baby Abby
“I was a little concerned how I would cope with my newborn as my previous two children were born when I was much younger, and I have always had low iron levels too. I feel the placenta capsules really helped me with a night for you (energy wise) and just keep me feeling like during the day, and able to cope with my 2 kids, and 2 step kids also.
I had a lot of comments about how well I looked, and I really did feel like I was buzzing! Very glad I got the placenta tincture for future too!
Thanks Kristin, you're to be commended on such professionalism and supplying such a great service to mums at the most important part of our lives. Thank you!”
Caterina, baby Violet
“I am definitely glad I decided to encapsulate my placenta. I was quite nervous before giving birth to my daughter and about how much my life was going to going to change and how I was going to juggle everything. But I have been surprisingly calm and relaxed since she arrived. Everything has felt very natural, and I haven't felt stressed or overwhelmed at all, which I'm sure could be due to taking the capsules. I would definitely recommend Kristin, she was informative and my capsules were ready in just two days after giving birth!”
Emma, baby Sadie
“Third time around, I was very concerned that a new baby would be overwhelming and take its toll on me emotionally and physically. With two not-so-tiny humans to look after and a partner who had to go back to work fairly quickly, that really wasn't an option.
The placenta capsules gave me more energy and allowed me to actively rest my body and my mind, which in turn fought off that pesky postnatal anxiety. Kristin's communication was second to none. From the website, to emails, to the details on the placenta transport kit.
I can't recommend placenta encapsulation enough, it made my third birth (third caesarean) the best by far. My recovery was seamless, my energy to handle all three kids is amazing, and it allowed me to bond with my baby whilst doing all the things. It was exactly what I needed.”
Cassie McNeill
“I am so glad I had Kristin encapsulate my placenta for the second time now, after the birth of my daughter. There is a gap of only 15 months for my firstborn born so I was quite worried I would feel really overwhelmed and exhausted when Matilda was born. However, I have had such an amazing experience and credit a lot of it to my placenta capsules. My mind has remained clear, I feel my energy is high and I've had no feelings of anxiety. I am so grateful for Kristin's amazing services.”
Megan, baby Matilda
“We'd like to thank you for the speediness of the placenta pick up and capsules delivery, and for liaising with my partner during my labour. I wasn't sure if the capsules were making me feel any different given it was my first baby and I didn't really know what to expect. Until I was sitting at my mothers group the other mums talked about how they cried for two weeks straight after coming home from the hospital! I definitely didn't experience this at all. I also think at times I had more energy with the little sleep I was getting - it was a good overall balance. I will highly recommend your services and placenta encapsulation to any new mum, and I will definitely be doing it again with baby number two! I would hate to know what the experience would be like not taking the capsules! I'll be in touch when number two comes along.”
Aleasha
“I don't consider myself to be all that holistic however I would have done almost anything to avoid the baby blues. I thought that I can't go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones that have been made by me, for me. I wanted the best for my overall healing and as I commenced my research I found that so many mum experienced great benefits from encapsulating their placenta. Kristin was incredibly fabulous throughout my experience, both during and post pregnancy. I have felt energised, focused and haven't had any signs of depression or anxiety since taking my placenta capsules.
I will definitely be doing this again with my second child and I can highly recommend it for anyone considering it. Thank you Kristin for being so fabulous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. You have helped me achieve the most positive transition into becoming a mother.”
Tiffiny, baby Bridie
“I feel so grateful to have crossed paths with Kristin. This was my first pregnancy, during the early months I began researching how I could honour my placenta that was nourishing my baby so well. I came across Kristin's website and immediately felt that this was the right way to go. I'm absolutely delighted with how everything went.
Kristin is professional, kind and supportive. While taking my placenta capsules, I felt replenished and loved the boost of energy they gave me. The only tears I had through those first weeks worth of joy and gratitude. I put that down to the wonderful homebirth experience, as well as the placenta capsules supporting my hormonal shifts during that time. When Kristin called to our home to collect the placenta, she was very respectful of our space, she brought such a lovely energy into our home that morning and it was a joy to share a baby bubble with her. I received some great breastfeeding tips and encouragement from Kristin which I am still grateful for today.'“
Niamh, baby Bear
“Firstly, I wanted to say thank you for your excellent, non-complicated and professional service. You made it so easy for my bleary eyed husband to get my precious placenta to you after a night of no sleep for him, and labour with no progress which sadly ended in another caesarean (failed VBAC) for me. Our little boy Ben was born in perfect health however, 4.2kg and knew exactly how to get his nourishment very quickly. My milk came in incredibly quickly and was abundant, and continued to be that way while on the placenta capsules. Ben suffered with colic quite badly until about 10 weeks, but I continued to feed him no problem. Considering my lack of sleep (day and night) my energy levels are steady, and I was complimented regularly on how well I looked. Even if I didn't always feel it! My iron levels post-pregnancy were also amazing, the best they had been in years!”
Rachel, baby Ben
“I'm so glad I decided to encapsulate my placenta and that I used Kristin. She was very informative and helpful throughout the whole process. I benefited in so many ways, and it was a very different postnatal experience the second time around. I dealt with sleep deprivation much better due to increased energy levels, less anxiety, definitely better sleep quality, just to name a few. If you have been thinking about encapsulating your placenta don't hesitate at all to use Kristin!”
Kate, baby Archie
“Kristin's level of service was outstanding. She has a very caring and professional approach. Her website was informative comprehensive, and answered all my questions before I booked in. She came recommended to me and I would now highly recommend her! The little bit of advice she gave me to help bring my milk in the so helpful and worked wonders! I would also recommend her lovely herbal products. Thank you Kristin.”
Debbi
“This was the first time I tried placenta encapsulation (third baby) and I'm so thankful I did and that I chose Kristin! We had quite a rocky journey this time around. Bub had an undiagnosed upper lip and posterior tongue ties, which caused him to lose too much weight, excruciating pain while breastfeeding, as he couldn't latch properly which then affected my supply. This all meant that I had to breastfeed and express between every feed 24/7 for two weeks.
I don't honestly don't know how I would have gotten through the whole ordeal without the support of taking the placenta pills. I felt the pills also kept my supply strong despite all the challenges I faced. My body also healed really quickly postbirth and more importantly, I felt strong mentally and supported during these really tough times. Kristin was a pleasure to deal with and the information she provided it was amazing. I have been telling everyone about my wonderful experience and wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again if I have another bubba!”
Talyea, baby Leo

“After pregnancy and birth, mothers require as much care as their newborn - to recover, replete, repair and recalibrate.”
